Curry Winborn wins OPC of WSMTA 2010 piano competition!

Curry Winborn is the 2010 winner of the Olympic Peninsula Chapter State Recitalist Competition. He will be performing Grieg’s Opus 7 Sonata in Olympia on June 22nd. Congratulations, Curry!!

I have been compiling notebooks of the various music composers that students must be familiar with and have them available for checking out. In each notebook is reading material on the composer as well as things to do; puzzles, coloring etc. [...]

With fall lessons starting Sept. 3rd, I have incorporated a new piano practice incentive. It’s the “Music Studio Store” and here’s how it works;  students will be paid $1.00 per hour (from me) for practicing… play money.
