Libby's Senior Recital

Curry Winborn is the 2010 winner of the Olympic Peninsula Chapter State Recitalist Competition. He will be performing Grieg’s Opus 7 Sonata in Olympia on June 22nd. Congratulations, Curry!!

This “CATcerto” features Nora. The conductor wrote the amazing orchestral accompaniment to follow Nora’s “lovely” piano playing.

This amazing stunt was performed by more than 200 dancers in just 2 rehearsals!

A new addition to the studio lending library is the “Composer Listen & Learn” project. I have been compiling notebooks of the various music composers that students must be familiar with and have them available for checking out. In each notebook is reading material on the composer as well as things to do; puzzles, coloring etc. [...]

With fall lessons starting Sept. 3rd, I have incorporated a new piano practice incentive. It’s the “Music Studio Store” and here’s how it works;  students will be paid $1.00 per hour (from me) for practicing… play money.
