With fall lessons starting Sept. 3rd, I have incorporated a new piano practice incentive. It’s the “Music Studio Store” and here’s how it works; students will be paid $1.00 per hour (from me) for practicing… play money. In the studio “store” there will be items of all sorts to “buy” at all different prices. Students may roam through the store BEFORE or AFTER lessons to see what’s available for purchase. They will be paid at each lesson and will be in charge of managing their own money and saving it for the item they desire to purchase.
Parents; I WELCOME your input and your contributions. If there are things you DON’T want your child to buy, please feel free to roam the store WITH them and let them know. If each parent would donate just one item to the store, I would be ever so grateful. (Think Dollar Store!) -Kayla
